Digital Video Editing
is so coooool!!!

Choosing the best fitting and most appropriate clips, creating a cohesive and smooth flow, and adding seemly effects to tell the story I’d like to tell in a way that reaches and interacts with the viewers—that is my idea of good video editing.

Movie Trailer

This school project was based on a psychological horror film “Carnival of Souls”. The task was to create a 2-2:30 min trailer using three-act structure:
Setup: exposition, inciting incident
Confrontation: rising action, midpoint
Resolution: climax, conclusion

I used copyright-free sound effects and background audio from the following websites: Purple-planet.com and QuickSounds.com.
Creepy name of the film (end credits) was created with “Covid-19” font (font: © Tomasz Skowronski).
Editing Broomhilda

Another fun school project! The task was to edit a number of supplied clips (footage from a movie shoot) in a new video sequence while following a given storyboard and utilizing various video editing techniques we’d learned throughout the course.
